Welcome to Sevenoaks Under 9s microsite

As the weeks progress, we will update the site with important information, key dates, team selections, results and pictures of the children either training or playing for their teams.

Under 9′s rugby is for children in the year 4 age group starting September 1st (i.e. aged 8 on 1st September).

As we are moving to contact this year, a mouth guard (gum shield) is mandatory. Protective “body armour” and head guards have merits and decision to wear is left to the discretion of parents.

Boots used for training and matches with either moulded studs or approved rugby studs (Bat and Ball sports can advise/supply) are acceptable. Bladed or nylon/plastic studs on boots are not permitted.

Please ensure children come to training and tournaments with wet weather clothing and additional clothing to keep warm when it is cold or for periods of inactivity. Also, please ensure the children bring water and energy replenishing snacks.
